Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens (Strand 1907)

Having bright metallic blue legs, a green carapace and an orange / red abdomen, this is a very colourful species. Spiderlings do well with higher humidity but adults benefit from a warmer, drier environment where they can be prolific web spinners. More nervous than defensive, they are popular and becoming well established in captivity.
